Early Mornings
There are just something about me and early mornings that I love! I love to wake up when the house is quiet and just wander around and do my own thing. I have always been an early riser, I take after my dad! When I was little I used to get up and watch Hercules, or Captain Planet or Inspector Gadget! I loved those old shows. We'd also watch the weather. I'd check the rain gauge, and the temperature. Getting up early affords me a lot of time, to think, ponder, exercise, read from my scriptures, prepare a yummy breakfast for my husband or any number of things, and because he is such a great sleeper and the white noise in our room masks all sound pretty much I can usually make as much noise as I want! Waking up early also allows me time to listen to the wonderful array of birds that we have outside our house! It also gives me time to blog! :) I do enjoy blogging, even though there are very posts on this blog. My school one was better, until April or May... when life got busy. Anyway I'm off to enjoy the morning!

Summer Holidays
Oh Summer How I Love Thee!
I love the following things:
- The warmth of summer
- Nice cool breezes
- The scent of a freshly mowed lawn
- The scent of sunscreen
- The scent of someone having a BBQ preferably me (Thank you to my wonderful husband for putting our new BBQ together yesterday)
- Deciding for the most part what I get to do for the day
- Bonfires (yeah we have a pit)
- Fairs
- Spending time at the beach

Sealed for Time and all Eternity!
We could not have chosen a more perfect day for our sealing at the Cardston Alberta Temple.
We had a nice quiet sealing, with our parents, Raymond's brother James, and his sister Jacquie, his aunt Deb and Uncle Dick, Colin Palmer, and Marvin and Karen Beaumont, Ian and Erin Beaumont, Jocelyn and her brother Eric! Our sealer was Brother Prince (who happens to be the grandfather of a friend of mine from Medicine Hat)!
That Temple workers told us that we had the perfect day and that they hadn't had a lot of those recently! The sun was shining. There was very little wind if any, and it was just an incredible day.
I love being in the Temple, and being there to be sealed to my Eternal companion was amazing.
One of my favorite quotes about Eternal Marriage:
"An eternal marriage is eternal. Eternal implies continuing growth and improvement. It means that man and wife will honestly try to perfect themselves. It means that the marriage relationship is not to be frivolously discarded at the first sign of disagreement or when times get hard. It signifies that love will grow stronger with time and that it extends beyond the grave. It means that each partner will be blessed with the company of the other partner forever and that problems and differences might as well be resolved because they are not going to go away. Eternal signifies repentance, forgiveness, long-suffering, patience, hope, charity, love, and humility. All of these things are involved in anything that is eternal, and surely we must learn and practice them if we intend to claim an eternal marriage." ~ F. Burton Howard

A Facelift
Well I haven't blogged in over a year, and I think it is about time I get back to it! So I've revamped it, changed the name, and gotten a new picture, and ultimately given this blog a facelift! About time!

Thank You
This afternoon I thought I'd prove my new hubby wrong! He said I wouldn't go for a walk... that is just nuts, of course I walk! Anywho, I decided I'd walk to the beach and swim around for awhile. It is a beautiful sunny day! So off I went to the beach, swam around for awhile and got out to dry off... that was when I wish I had a vaporizer gun and then I'd feel better and there would be two less rude individuals on the planet.
I'm overweight I'm not denying that, and I am working on it! But I don't need rude young men pointing it out! I have ears I'm not deaf! Thank you to the first young man I encountered who was hanging out with his Barbie doll friend, who looked in my direction and said that is hideous. Thank you that made me feel great, did it boost your ego? And a big thank you also to the boy on the dock, who yelled as loudly as he could lose some weight! I thank you both for wrecking my day! I hope that your egos have somehow received a boost at my expense.
In other thoughts, it truly was a lovely walk and swim!

Surprises
What a great day and a great surprise! Raymond and I had chatted last night and he was toying with the idea of coming out to Ashern to see me today... I thought I had him convinced to stay home and work on his projects and study for his exams.
As I was taking a break from decorating the tree and playing on my computer, in walked Raymond! What a lovely surprise!
He'd brought his laptop to work on his projects, and he was able to help me wrap the lights around the tree!
What fun!
