My Mornings

I absolutely love being a mom! Especially when every morning I go into Abbey's room, once I hear movement saying, Goodmorning Abbey, and I get a bright and beautiful smile everyday! ♥ Makes me fall in love with her again everyday!!!!!!

Father's Day

This year for Father's Day the week before I was in Winnipeg, so  I picked up one of Raymond's favorite things!  An Oreo Ice Cream Cake from DQ!  It was super yummy!  Happy Father's Day Raymond!

Peas!!!!!!!!!!

Day 1 of Peas, didn't go so well! For some reason the Baby Bullet didn't puree them very nicely, and there were little tiny pieces of pea!  Abbey made quite the faces, but I missed those on camera.

So we tried again and boiled the peas longer, added more water, and such trying to get them to puree!

It worked, although she still makes faces, not sure peas are going to be a favorite!

 

First Feeding

Well we can't forget the funny times! 

Abbey began to eat solid food near the end of April.

Her first solid food: 

Rice Cereal

The Results: 

A) She likes Rice Cereal

B) We have some pretty super photos

"Ummmm... what just happened, all of this food was in my
mouth and now I have it on my forehead!"

"I didn't do it!"

"Why are you still taking pictures, Clean me UP!"

Next came Oat Cereal!

 

Our Little Easter Bunny

People have such cute ideas! I saw pictures of my friend's son and decided, hey I have that stuff lying around here, I could do that myself!  

Here are the results!

Abbey wins Cadbury Easter Bunny

Abbey and I were at Co-op and there was a ballot, so I asked what it was for.  They told me it was for the huge Cadbury Easter Bunny, on the top shelf!  It was huge.  Then they said but only kids can enter.  Another employee said, well put in Abbey's name, so I did!  And lo and behold, Abbey won the Cadbury bunny!  

Abbey and I were out in the car one day, and all of sudden there was a knock on the roof our car, it was the manager with the bunny!  Raymond had been in the store, and was filling our water jugs, when the he "felt" someone behind him, he turned around to see Andrew (the manager with the bunny...  His first thought was, okay, you're trying to be funny and I guess he had a puzzled look on his face, because Andrew quickly explained that we had won the Bunny!

Cadbury scared my friend, Sussanne with his glasses, so here he is without!

General Conference

Before General Conference started we took Abbey for a walk, she didn't even make it around the block!  This was pretty much how she spent General Conference, except inside, on the couch!
